Addisyn is now almost 14 months old!  Man does time sure fly!   She’s becoming such and active, independent little girl now.  It’s hard to believe that she was once a newborn baby. 

Games We’re Playing:

She loves playing Peek-a-boo, riding her “truck” and talking on her cell phone.   She still loves reading her books and almost always has at least one (maybe two) in her hands as she wandering around the house.   She also LOVES watching the squirrels in the backyard!  Every morning, she and Daddy feed the squirrels Peanuts and watch them eat.  She will sit there for hours and watch them!

Num, Num

At her 1 yr appointment, Addisyn was still tall for her age, in the 90th% for height and the 75th% for weight.  She has now decided that she’d rather feed herself than have Mommy or Daddy help which makes meal time a lot more interesting.  She’s still a great eater though and loves her fruits and vegetables.  Although, I think she would probably rather have crackers and juice for every meal if we’d let her.

These days, it seems like there’s always something new coming out of her mouth or being signed. 

Words she’s signing: Milk, More, Eat, All Done, Cracker, Bye-Bye, Thank You and squirrel.  She’s getting close with cheese and juice and we've been working on please and bird

Words she’s “saying”: Mommy, Daddy, Baby, Juice, Shoe, Book, Tree, Boo, Bath, Ball, Balloon, Hi, No, Don’t, Nice and please.
